Ufuk Serin graduated from the Middle East Technical University's Department of Architecture in 1989. She completed her master's degree at the same department in 1995. She obtained her Ph.D. in Early Christian Art and Archaeology from the Pontifical Institute of Christian Archaeology in 2002. Since 2003, she has been serving in the Department of Architecture at the Middle East Technical University, where he has been working as a faculty member since 2006.
