A group of forty students and their four professors from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland visited the center on May 24th, 2019.  Lectures were held at Koç University in collaboration with GABAM. The first lecture “Constantinople, the Capital of the Byzantine Empire” was delivered by GABAM Director Engin Akyürek, and the second lecture “Theology of Byzantine Icons” was delivered by Aleksander W. Mikolajczak, professor of history at Adam Mickiewicz University.
