Prof. Ayla Ödekan is one of the pioneer scholars of Turkey with her interdisciplinary and inter cultural approach. Her productions and activities in different areas shows us the importance of her contributions to science. She worked at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and İstanbul Technical University for years, had so many students and has important contribution to art history education.
